Can you say, "bridge out"?...
...of course not! The semi-trucks and tankers use the river bed below. The plank above is for those wheel-bases that are a little too wide and if you are willing to pay a little bit for the locals to allow you to use it.
Menchum Falls, one of the most powerful waterfalls in Cameroon.
A screensaver picture?
The border bridge between Wum and Weh.
To the right is a drop-off, to the left is a rut larger than my wheel...so the guys are filling the rut with stones so I can cross to the good side of this very steep climb on the road to Lake Nyos.
The view from the top of that climb.
Entering the village at Nyos.
Welcome to the news page for the Sam Sanderlin family. We are serving in the country of Cameroon, West Africa. We are planting churches in the Northwest Region and using aviation to reach out into the remote areas of the Southwest Region where the gospel is little known. Our sending church is Wyldewood Baptist in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Our sending agency, Wings as Eagles Mission Air Service, is a ministry of our home church.
Greetings from Cameroon!
II Thessalonians 3:1
"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you;"
