Welcome to the news page for the Sam Sanderlin family. We are serving in the country of Cameroon, West Africa. We are planting churches in the Northwest Region and using aviation to reach out into the remote areas of the Southwest Region where the gospel is little known. Our sending church is Wyldewood Baptist in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Our sending agency, Wings as Eagles Mission Air Service, is a ministry of our home church.
Greetings from Cameroon!
II Thessalonians 3:1

Journey to the original Cameroon coast!
I had the awesome privilege to travel with Pastor Eugene to the very beaches where baptist missionaries first entered Cameroon in 1841 and the following years. These were the same beaches where slaves were shipped out prior to 1840 when slavery was legal. We also saw the highest mountain in West Africa, Mt. Cameroon.

Baptism
Well, Ndop water unreliability struck again. We had only one of the two water sources partially working. We got enough water to baptize by 12:15 or so and rejoice in the testimony and good spirit of the day. We learned what should have been obvious...fill the tank the day before baptism!

Safe flight
Had a safe test flight on Monday after a successful fix of an electrical problem that had kept me down for a while. An airplane mechanic from another ministry came over to help me out.
