New village

Several of went to a new village today to preach. We had met the chief elsewhere and he invited us to come to his village. Several responded to the gospel. Pray for a church to be planted there. There is already one convention Baptist churchand  other groups, but there are over 10,000 people there.

Back to school greetings from Cameroon!

Elena starts third grade on Monday and Elias will start Kindergarten the week after that.  We are doing Abeka video school for Elena so that Abby can give most of her time to teaching Elias how to read and write.  Elena is excited as we have already rearranged her school room accordingly.  We'll try to post a picture later.

I thought I would post some pictures of the kids back to school pictures as well as updates at church and such...enjoy.

If you enjoyed these pictures then come and see us!

Now some from the church: During the summer holiday we accomplished several projects including the upgrading of the Sunday School building with cement, new doors, and mosquito nets.  We also build an outdoor baptistery, so we no longer have to travel to baptize.  I actually enjoyed baptizing in pools of water, but some will happy for the change!  We hope to use the new baptistery soon for those who trusted in Christ recently.

You can notice in the last picture the difference of not only a new baptistery and wall but also the updates to the building on the left that we use for Sunday school and library/office.  We are still praying about what to do for the main building on the right.  We are working on planting grass and bushes now while it is still rainy season.
