Despite all the studying, we took time for some R&R and some yummy (that's for you, mom :) grilled hamburgers at the hangar. Flight instructor, Jack Hunt, did an excellent job grilling for all of us! Elena enjoyed exploring the plane with her daddy.
Welcome to the news page for the Sam Sanderlin family. We are serving in the country of Cameroon, West Africa. We are planting churches in the Northwest Region and using aviation to reach out into the remote areas of the Southwest Region where the gospel is little known. Our sending church is Wyldewood Baptist in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Our sending agency, Wings as Eagles Mission Air Service, is a ministry of our home church.

Thank for the pics...gives us a nice mental picture of your surroundings. Love the ones of Elena! Her daddy loved his thumb, too! Can't imagine all the things to be learned about flying a plane....we are praying for all of you. Love Mom aka Grammie Sanderlin
p.s. made two pies with apples from our tree and put in the freezer for Thanksgiving..will try to make it special since Sam has not been here for Thanksgiving for 8 years!!! Looking forward to seeing you all then.
What a sweet pic of Sam & Elena - never too young to learn to love planes, huh, Sam?! Wish we could have been there to enjoy those "yummy" hamburgers :) You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, mom for all of us (in the chilly "north" - better enjoy while you can!!)
