Our little mancub

Don't assume that being on the table is allowed!

Fell asleep with his Bible.  When he comes in the office, he'll often look for it and say, "Bible"

Daddy and Elias sick together this week

Taken just a few minutes after the previous picture!

Our early bird caught eating cold mashed potatoes for breakfast...Elena didn't finish them the night before! We try, but sometimes...!

Thanksgiving in Cameroon

Elias in his usual mode of travel just a few minutes after we started down the dusty road...Elena holding his hand and singing to him!

We drove about 3 1/2 hours from Ndop to Foumban.  Foumban is on the other side of these mountains. Being in the dry season, we got to eat dirt the whole way!  We were all an orange tint when we arrived.

Arrival at the Loechers house in Foumban the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving dinner at the Barilla's house!

Happy Thanksgiving!  We are thankful for all our family and friends!

Pictures of Last Weeks "Opening Services"

This was our second Sunday in the new building, but we had a big service inviting sister churches from other towns and villages.  We had over 70 people for the afternoon service with at least 2 people saved.  The pictures are from Sunday school and then the afternoon service.  Pray for many who are struggling with the decision of following the Lord in believers baptism and uniting with this church.  Our church name is Believers Baptist Church and is located in our town of Ndop.  Thank you for praying!

Family and church update from Ndop

Elias and I with our matching shirts

Elena and David with the finished wardrobes. When we began work on the house we realized there was no closet space!

We took another picnic last week just above Camp Joy...a beautiful place!

Church building from the main road

The parlor under construction to become the main meeting room

Finishing touches on the church benches in the parlor

Finishing the front cement work. The main work left to do is painting and repairing the roof and ceiling along with a number of little things.

First Sunday morning services!! There were maybe 35 here today...two saved yesterday!

Preaching/Survey trip to Balikumbat in the afternoon. This is a village maybe 25 minutes off the main road. Taty, a contact from our survey trip a few years ago invited us to come out and see him. He trusted Christ today!

David, Chrysanthus, and Taty walking through the coffee trees...

By popular demand: our house in Ndop!

Thanks for asking to see our house. It is not done as we are adding necessities and finishing touches very slow. For instance, we have no power except by generator a few hours each night. So, that eliminates washing machine and refrigerator for now. We have learned to live without quite a few things! We are hoping to get some Cameroonian furniture for our parlor as well as material for curtains and such. Here are some pictures of the various rooms and angles of the house outside.

Study...custom made bookshelves and ceiling. Our carpenters do a great job! They are making the desk for this study now and also the benches for the new church.

Our bedroom (same wood ceiling as the study).
