Welcome to the news page for the Sam Sanderlin family. We are serving in the country of Cameroon, West Africa. We are planting churches in the Northwest Region and using aviation to reach out into the remote areas of the Southwest Region where the gospel is little known. Our sending church is Wyldewood Baptist in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Our sending agency, Wings as Eagles Mission Air Service, is a ministry of our home church.
Greetings from Cameroon!
II Thessalonians 3:1
"Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you;"

First work day at new church plot
We had an excellent turn out and accomplished a lot of work on the new church plot today. The plan is to use the two buildings already there and fix them up for church use until we outgrow them...hopefully soon.

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas from the Sanderlins in Africa! Yes, we celebrate Christmas in Africa and enjoy now the way it is celebrated here. Today, we had our own family Christmas, because tomorrow is a big day for church and going to friends' houses. Many will come to our house in the afternoon. We plan to have a service at church, then a few of us will go to the prison for a brief service, then we'll go to Pastor Chrysantus' house, then in the afternoon people will come to our house.
Here are some pictures of our day today. Thank you to Grammie and Grandad, as well as Grandma and Grandpa and family as well as others for the things you sent!
Abby and I bought this tree in Oshkosh soon after we were married in '05. We are still using it!
We do a traditional "Sanderlin" early morning Christmas...we were done by 7:30. Abby then fixed a great breakfast!
Found a second hand DD coffee travel cup in Bamenda along with some new Maxwell House coffee for Christmas! Thanks to those who sent some DD coffee with the Falls team that came out earlier.
Chloe was playing with her new dolls and singing her favorite Christmas tune to her own words later in the morning. She is always singing. Lately, when she is crying or disturbed about something, she'll break out with "Gloria in excelsis Deo!" to comfort herself :)
Elias playing with some of the legos he got today.
Elena playing with a "Leap Frog" book machine.
